On 08/10/23 leading into Hispanic Heritage Month, (September 15th to October 15th) the Alliance for Hispanic Advancement was recognized as a vital part for AHA’s decades of efforts that advance the Hispanic experience, culture and history in the local area.
Several board members were on hand to receive the proclamation from Yuba Community College at their trustee meeting. A new era of focus and attention have been brought to Hispanic Heritage Month with several days of outreach events scheduled at Yuba Community College.
Yuba Community College Trustees, under the direction of new leadership is forging a stronger connection with AHA as a community organization and partnering to strengthen opportunities and networks for student success.
AHA’s mission is to improve the quality of life for all Hispanics, making this partnership a natural alliance.
